Lavender Rose Clay Mask is a mineral and nutrient powerhouse that nourishes skin while drawing out and eliminating built-up oils and irritants from deep under the surface.

Incredibly versatile, this floral clay mask powder mixes well with any liquid base intended for skincare.

Recommended bases for mixing include steam-distilled floral waters, such as our Lavender Rose Fresh Mist, apple cider vinegar, or aloe goods such as our Lavender Gel Cooling Mask.

Suggested Use

• Prepare  –  Blend 1 tsp. of clay mask powder into a smooth paste with the base you find most beneficial to your skin type; purified water works well enough.  You may experience enhanced results using aloe gel for tired or sensitive skin, apple cider vinegar to balance combination skin, or floral distillate for dry and aging skin.
• Apply  –  Use a fan brush or fingers to spread mask evenly across the face. Pay special attention to cover dry or flaky areas in need of exfoliation, and avoid sensitive areas around the eyes.  Work quickly, as the mixture will begin to dry rapidly, however it will take longer to dry in some areas.  Wait about 15-20 minutes before removal.
• Exfoliate  –  After the mask fully dries, use warm water and a soft cloth such as our Black Hemp Facial Cloth and gently scrub your face in circular upward motions to wash away the clay.   
• Aftercare –  Follow up with a gentle facial cleanser and toner before applying serums or creams.

Note:  Only prepare as much mixture of mask powder and base as you’ll use at one time, as it does not preserve well once it combines with moisture.  If you end up with more blended mask than you need for your face, then don’t worry, it’s a great time to paint your neck, chest, arms, stomach, back; anywhere prone to acne, dry flaky skin build up, or other sensitivities.

Pro Tip:  As part of a weekly routine, mix & apply a clay mask on your “Friday Night”, whichever evening begins your “weekend” depending upon your schedule.  This way you can spend as much time as you need pampering your skin with aftercare over the weekend, and you can show up to the start of your next new week with the vibrant glow of clear skin that comes from maintaining it with a regular skincare routine.

For Best Results: Weekly application of a mineral mask is beneficial for all skin types, and those with oily skin may find added benefit from a second application each week as needed.
